Past Relevant Work

Step 4 of the 5 step process is past relevant work. What is past relevant work and how is it important?

If someone does not meet a listing, the next step is can they do their past work. That goes as far back as 15 years. They will describe what details you went through and will decide if any of the jobs you had you can do now. If you can do any of those you are not disabled. It is not how you did it; it is how it is generally performed by standard. If you can not do past relevant they check and see if you can go any other work.
